About him

Arthur Ward

Arthur Ward

Born: June 21st, 1946

Passed on: February 17th, 2011

It is with a sad and heavy heart that we say good bye to our husband, father and best friend, Arthur M Ward.  A treasured husband and father, Art always put his family first.  His girls, Tracy and Teri-lyn, count him as the rock of their lives and their hero.  He loved no person more than his darling Abby.  He was often seen with Abby at his side and she is with out doubt "puppy's girl".

Art spent his summer months in the Annapolis Valley at the Plantation Campground where he and Betty made many a life long friend.  After retirement Art and  Betty made their lives on the road during the winter months enjoying life as snowbirds.  Eventually making his winter home in Donna texas where he made friends from far and wide.  He was often seen walking the camping park stopping to chat with everyone he met.  With Art you were a stranger only until he knew your name and then his open heart would add you as his friend.

Art was a an avid Nascar fan and never missed a race if it could be helped.  Jimmy Johnson was his man and he could often be hear cheering Jimmy on whether it be at the track at Daytona or on tom's TV at the Plantation campground.

He has left behind many friends and lots of memories to hide away in our hearts.  The family would like to say a special thank you to dave and Dianne  Andrews for their unwavering love and support.

We ask that whenever you hear a Conway song that you raise a glass of  Appletons to Art!

To Dad, we love you and will miss you with every day that passes and with every beat of our heart.

Love,

Betty, Tracy and Teri-lyn.
